Who we are

Barnard Castle is situated in the South West of County Durham in the North East of England and is approximately 16 miles West of Darlington. Visitors to the offices are also welcome Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Our offices are situated on the ground floor of Woodleigh, facing Scar Top on the corner of Flatts Road and Lower Galgate.

The parish boundary is shown as a solid blue line on the map, below.  The dotted blue line shows the boundary between the West Ward and the East Ward of the parish.

The Town Clerk is Martin Clark. Other members of staff are Finance Officer, Claire Atkinson; Services Officer, Yvette Farren and Markets & Maintenance Supervisor, Mark Vaughn.
