Annual Town Meeting
Each year, local government electors of the Parish of Barnard Castle are invited to attend the Annual Town Meeting.
Those who attend are able to discuss matters applicable to the parish of Barnard Castle and ask relevant questions, subject to the provisions of Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972. The subject of the discussion can properly encompass any issue of public concern affecting residents of the parish.
